Dakhil Rasho is an IDP from Dwgor, Shangal. Since 2014, he and his family has not been able to return home because of the invasion of ISIS. He has seven children and left his village, a week before ISIS took over Shangal, to come to Sulaymaniyah. Since then, they have been living on the outskirts of Sulaimaniyah in Kanakawa. He and his family were living in a small farmhouse, working in a garden to cover the cost of their monthly rent. He has not been able to return to his hometown because he feels that it is still dangerous to return there. He said, “I will never forget all the tragedies ISIS did.” He is one of the many families we met in 2014, and we are trying to do our best to reduce the pain they have experienced. Dakhil said, “Without the Family Center, our life would be 100X harder and we would not be able to survive. The Family Center has done a great job, and no one else has done for us what the center has done. You are always standing beside us. You never made us feel homeless or displaced. You provided food, washing machines, a cooler, heater, rugs, blankets and kerosene oil. That’s not all, when my children see the staff, they consider you guys family.
During our visit, we found out that Dakhil Rasho and his family had one week to leave their home. Unfortunately, we are unable to help them pay their rent and encouraged them to look for work.
The pain and sorrow of the Yazidi people will end when the war and, terror ends. Until all the beautiful families can return home and rebuild their lives once again, we will continue to do our best to help and encourage them anyway we can. As always, our center’s dream is for peace, because peace is an important solution in ending war and terror.

دەربارەی دەخیل ڕەشۆ ئاوارەیەکی شەنگال ٠٠٠٠
دەخیل رەشۆی تەمەن ٤٣ ساڵ ئاوارەیەکی دەستی تیرۆری گوندی دووگوری شەنگالە. ئەو خاوانی حەوت منداڵە لە ساڵی ٢٠١٤ەوە، لە دەست تیرۆرستانی داعش لە گوندەکەیان هەڵهاتووە. ئەو پاش نزیک بوونەوەی چەکدارانی داعش لە گوندەکەیان و پێش حەفتەیەک لە داگیرکاری شەنگال بەرەو شاری سلیمانی ەڵهاتوون. لەو ساتەوە لە دەروەی شاری سلێمانی لە ناوچەی کەنەکەوە لە بەرابەر پێنەدانی کڕیی نیشتجێ بوون، لە باخێکدا کاردەکات.
ئەو لەو کاتەوەی گە گوندەکەیان رەشەکوژی تێدا کراوە، نەگەراوەتەوە بۆ گوندی دووگور، وەک ئەو دەڵی هەست بە ئاسایش ناکات و هێشتا ترس و دڵە راوکێکانی درندەی چەکدارانی داعشی لە بیر نەکردووە٠
خانەوادەی دەخێل یەكیکی دیکەن لەو خێزانە خۆشەویستانەی کە لە ساڵی ٢٠١٤ وە بوونەتە هاورێ و خۆشەویستی ستافی سەنتەرەکەمان لەو ساتەوە، بە هەموو هێز و توانایەکمانەوە دەمانەوێت لە خەمەکانیان کەمکەینەوە هاوکاریان بین. ئەو دەربارەی سەنتەرەکەمان دەڵیت: "لە راستیدا بێ ئێوە ژیانی ئێمە سەد ئەوەندەی ئێستا سەخت دەبوو، ئێوە کاری باشتان بۆ ئێمە کرد، هێچ کەسێک وەک ئێوە هاوسۆز و هاو خەمان نەبووە، لە رووی پێدانی خۆراکی مانگانەوە هیج کاتێ نەتان هشتووە هەست بە کەم و کوری بکەین، هەروەها زۆرێک لە پێداویستیەکانی وەک؛ جلشۆر، فێنککەرەوە، زۆپا، هیتەر، راخەر، بەتانی، نەوت ... هەر ئێوە بۆ تان دابین کردووین، لە راستیدا من نازانم چۆن سوپاستان بکەم؟ تەنانەت بەجۆرێک هاوسۆزمان بوون، منداڵەکانم هەر بە بینینتان دڵخۆش دەبن، بۆیە سوپاسی بێ پایانم بۆ سەرجەم ستافی سەنتەرەکەتان و ئەو کەسانەی کە لە ووڵاتی ئەمریکا و چیلی هاوکاریتان دەکەن، تا خزمەتی ئێمەی پێ بکەن، هێندە دەڵێم: خودا ئاگاداری ئێوەبێ، ئێوە وەک خوشک و برای ئێمە هاوسۆز و هاوخەمی ئێمەن". لە کاتی سەردانکردنی خێزانی (دەخیل)دا نیگەران بووین بەوەی کە پێویست بوو، تا حەفتەیەکی دیکە لەو جێگایە بگوازێتەوە، چونکە خاوەن شوێنەکە پێویستی بە جێگاکەیان بوو، دڵتەنگیان بۆ نەبوونی جێگایەک زۆر لە دڵەڕاوکیدا بوون، بە داخەوە بە هۆی ئەوی لە لیستی هاوکاری و پرۆگرامەکانی ئێمەدا پێدانی کرێی خانوو رێگەپیدراو نییە نەمان دەتوانی، بەڵێن بدەین، بەڵام هانمان دان لەگەران بە دوای کارداو ئێمەش لە رێگای خۆمانەوە هاوکاریان دەبین پشتیوانیان دەکەین. ژان و ئازارەکانی شەنگالییەکان تەنها بەوە کۆتای دێت، کۆتای بە جەنگ بیت، کۆتا بە تیرۆر بێت، تا ئەم ئازیزانەمان بۆ مەنزڵگەکانی خۆیان بگەرینەوە و ژیانێکی نوێ دەستپێبکەنەوە. وەک هەمیشە خەونی سەنتەرەکەمان ئەوەیە، کە ئاشتی باڵی بەسەر زەویدا بکێشی و چونکە تەنها چارەسەری هەموو گرفتەکانی زەوی خۆشەویستی و ئاشتییە٠
