The three sisters of Shangal
Nuhad, Jorjy, and Sameya are three nice sisters from Shangal, their ages are from 18-21 years. They are among
the Yezidi people who had to leave their homes in 2014 and came to Sulaimanyah.
The three sister are always together and during a recent visit they welcomed us very warmly. They are very good
at knitting, they said their mother has taught them when they were very young to make much of their own clothing. For example they make blouses, gloves, hats, socks, scarfs, bracelets and some other accessories.
When our good friend Alejandra learned of their ability to knit, she has motivated them to spend their free time
knitting to forget or at least to not dwell on all that has happened to them. They said “we would like to thank Family Center and Alejandra (Chika han) who has always helped us to work and provided
us yarn for knitting."
Family Center helped the three sisters by sending some of their handwork to Chile in December 2015 where our
dear friends in Chile bought all of them. The extra income has helped to cover their needs.
Family Center is always thinking that only food is not enough for the refugees and IDPs from Iraq and Syria but
we also tried to be friends and help them psychologically too. That’s why we would try to do our best to remain their friends and share their sorrow and joys too.
سێ خوشکە دەسترەنگینەکەی شەنگال
نوهاد، جۆرجی، سامییە، سێ خوشکی رۆح شیرینی
شەنگالن. تەمەنیان لە نیوان (١٨ – ٢١) ساڵیدایە. ئەوان هەر وەک سەرجەم یەزیدیەکانی
دیکەی شەنگال لە ساڵی ( ٢٠١٤)ەوە، ئاوارەی
شاری سلیمانی بوون. ئەم سێ خوشکە هەمیشە
پێکەوەن و بە ڕوویەکی خۆشەوە پێشوازیمان لێدەکەن. ئەوان لە بواری رستن و چنیندا،
زۆر کارامەو دەست رەنگینن. خۆیان ئاماژە بەوە دەکەن هەر لەتەمەنیکی کەمی
منداڵییەوە دایکیان فێری رستن و چنینی کردوون، تا بتوانن هەندێک لە پیداویستیەکانی وەک: بلوز،
دەستکێش، کلاو، گۆرەوی، ملپێچ، بازنە و هەندێک پیداویستی جوانکاری کچانەش بە
شێوەیەکی سەرنجبەر بۆ خۆیان دروست دەکەن.
لە سەرەتادا لە لایەن هاوڕێمان (ئەلیخاندرا)
درک بە دەست رەنگینیان کرا و ئەو زۆر هانی دەدان، کە کاتە کانی خۆیان بە رستن و
چنین بەسەر بەرن، بۆ ئەوەی دڵتەنگی ئاوارەییان لە بیر بچێتەوە. هەر بۆییە وەک
خۆیان دەڵین: " زۆر سوپاسی فامیلی
سەنتەر و (ئەلیخاندرا – چیکەخان) دەکەین،
ئەو هەمیشە هانمان دەدات، کە کار بکەین و ئەوان سەرجەم پیداویستیەکانی رستن
و چنینیان بۆ دابین کردوین".
ئەم سێ خوشکە دەست رەنگینە، لە دیسەمبەری ساڵی
ڕابردوودا، ژمارەیەک پێداویستیان چنی و لەرێگای فامیلی سەنتەرەوە بۆ ولاتی چیلی
نێردرا، خۆشبەختانە لە لایەن هاورێیانمان لە چیلی سەرجەمیان کڕی و تا هانیان بدەن
و بەو داهاتە هەندێک پێداویستی خۆیان دابین بکەن و هاندانیک بێت بۆ بەردەوامی دان
بە هونەرەکەیان. ستافی فامیلی سەنتەر، هەمیشە لە مامەڵە کردن لەگەڵ ئاوارەکانی
شەنگال و سوریادا، ویستویەتی جیاواز بیر بکاتەوە، تەنها دابینکردنی خۆراکی بە ئەرک
نەزانیووە، بەلکو لە رووی دەرونی و کۆمەلایەتییەوە ویستومانە پشگیر و خەمرەوێنیان
بین. هەر لەو پێناوەدا لە هەوڵەکانمان بەردەوام دەبین، هاوخەم و هاورێی خۆشی و
ئازارەکانیان دەبین.
